Discover, Give Actionable Value, Develop Others, Collaborate to Help Others Produce Masterpieces & More

I met a junior at JCSU in a ComArts classroom. She said she could sing and I told her to sing on the spot. She did not disappoint and her voice sound good. The consultant in me came out to give her actionable value and then the music A&R in me came out to give her more actionable value. I have a soft spot for this type of stuff especially when the person has range to be developed into strength. 

When I went home, I started thinking, with all the music production and video production equipment we have on campus at JCSU, students can create and produce albums, music videos, distribute it, market it, perform at events, sell their music, and more. This would be a good senior project. The senior project would contain the following and all of it can be done on campus across disciplines. This would give students real life experiences with marketable skills producing a tangible return on investment.

Project Task List collaboration in Curriculum Across Disciplines:

-Create/Produce music album of 5 songs 

-Create/produce a music video to go with each song 

-Create/develop the graphics, branding, and marketing campaigns around it 

-Develop a distribution plan and implement it 

-Develop a sales plan and implement 

-Develop a campus tour plan being creative and implement it

-Develop a financial plan, budgets, and implement it
